Abstract

In May the Northwest Indiana Coincident Index continued to rise for the fifth month in a row, growing by 0.4 points to 142.6. Employment in Northwest Indiana has reached 278,900 returning to the same level as December 2015 and the highest level seen since 2008. The forecast for economic growth over the next six months remains at about 1%.
