Building a Framework: The Importance of Analyzing Worldview

Abstract

The topic of worldview has received limited research attention. One reason for this might be the fact that no measure of worldview exists. This study hopes to establish a scale to measure the strength and dimensionality of an individual's worldview. The goal is to utilize a survey completed by approximately 350 individuals across the United States and then analyze these results using CFA and EFA. The desired outcome of this study is to create an objective scale for measuring the strength/presence of a worldview, which can then be used to conduct future research on this topic.
