Measurements of absolute branching fractions for $D$ mesons decays into two pseudoscalar mesons

Abstract

Using a data sample of e + e − collision data with an integrated luminosity of 2.93     fb − 1 taken at the center-of-mass energy √ s = 3.773     GeV with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage rings, we measure the absolute branching fractions of the two-body hadronic decays D + → π + π 0 , K + π 0 , π + η , K + η , π + η ′ , K + η ′ , K 0 S π + , K 0 S K + , and D 0 → π + π − , K + K − , K ∓ π ± , K 0 S π 0 , K 0 S η , K 0 S η ′ . Our results are consistent with previous measurements within uncertainties. Among them, the branching fractions for D + → π + π 0 , K + π 0 , π + η , π + η ′ , K 0 S π + , K 0 S K + and D 0 → K 0 S π 0 , K 0 S η , K 0 S η ′ are determined with improved precision compared to the world average values.
