The Personal Finance Ecosystem is a visual roadmap laying out the foundation of an individual’s level of financial well-being, giving context to the elements that comprise and influence it. It rightsizes expectations for what educational and behavioral influences, interventions and efforts realistically can achieve. This framework can be used by higher education staff to understand how their work fits into the broader landscape and to facilitate meaningful conversations with campus leadership.
