Description

This report outlines a public relations campaign to increase awareness, fundraising, and volunteer engagement for the Tulip Trestle Community Restoration in Greene County, Indiana. The campaign includes research-based strategies to promote the trestle’s historical significance, expand event attendance, and raise $20,000 for land acquisition. Recommendations focus on social media outreach, partnerships with local businesses and historical societies, and volunteer recruitment through Indiana University and Greene County schools. This report was created by students in MSCH-R 429 Public Relations Campaigns for Tulip Trestle Community Restoration Inc. through the 2019–20 IU Sustaining Hoosier Communities initiative. The views expressed are those of the students and do not represent IUSHC, CRE, Indiana University, or Tulip Trestle Community Restoration Inc.
