Abstract
This issue of Field Notes introduces the State Fair Masters, the Piecemakers, master quilters, and the Huber Family, master winemakers. There is also a report on TAI Day at the Indiana State Fair, featuring musical performances and the Fiddle Contest. TAI also sponsored artists to share their art at Bloomington's Fair on the Square. TAI also partnered with seven convention and visitor bureaus along I-69 to effect a fieldwork project to identify and document over 100 traditional artists. TAI introduces the Rotating Exhibit Project. Artist Earl Riser, dobro player, is introduced along with his experiences of the Waterloo Depot Jam Session.
