Abstract

Over the past decade, the number one reason students left our University was financial struggle. Within two years of launching its Financial Wellness program, we reduced students’ self-reporting of withdrawal for financial reasons by 34%. This presentation will focus on the programming undertaken by the institution (including the use of predictive data) with the intention to continue improving our retention rate, now at a historic 74% (up 10% in the last four years).
