Abstract
Across professions and industries, finding the right leadership within an organization is a subject of great interest for superiors and subordinates alike. Advances in leadership science have led researchers to identify some key characteristics that related positively to the job outcomes. From these characteristics, positive leadership styles have developed that contain these traits, but some emphasize more of these traits than others. From a sample of Indiana University Southeast students and social media users, this study compares four positive leadership styles: transformational, authentic, servant, and resonant leadership, and each style's effects on Job satisfaction.
