Abstract
Description
In partnership with Indiana University's Center for Rural Engagement, the Political and Civil Engagement Program at Indiana University created a report that can be used to solicit local, state, and federal support for childcare, as well as information related to the establishment of childcare microfacilities. This report provides an overview of childcare availability in Daviess County, Indiana. Drawing on local data and policy analysis, it outlines five areas for potential improvement: funding models, infrastructure development, workforce support, quality standard reform, and universal preschool access.
