Abstract

The increasingly common addition of the scholarly communication librarian to academic library faculty requires that library schools adjust their curricula to reflect present demands of the job market. Finlay, Tsou and Sugimoto1 surveyed every posting to the American Library Association lob list and found that the percentage of scholarly communication jobs in academic libraries more than doubled between 2006 and 2014.
