Abstract
This presentation discusses ways that academic institutions can partner with their libraries to enhance community access to the scholarship produced on their campuses, much of which results from community-engaged projects. Specifically, the presenters outline how community access to scholarship supports the mission of a public research institution in an urban setting and the outcomes from a decade-plus partnership between the IUPUI University Library and the IUPUI Center for Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP).
This presentation was part of an online panel discussion at the Engaged Scholarship Symposium hosted by the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility at Swarthmore College on April 17, 2024.
