Abstract

The digital divide within our school systems has become a topic of research within the last decade. Over the last two years, and a few years prior, technology within educational settings has been both praised and called into question. Before Covid-19, many schools had already began implementing online learning resources for their students. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic that began closing schools in early 2020, many facilities had to grow their online forum, or work on perfecting it, so that students could still learn during their prolonged periods of time at home. Students in economically deficient areas have begun to see and experience many challenges due to their online assignments.
