Cataloging Norms for Non-Western Languages

Abstract

The author describes the process used to devise high cataloging productivity norms for a non-Western language cataloging unit for a backlog project. She then describes how those temporary norms were later converted into permanent production norms for the unit with the participation of the unit catalogers.
