dc.description.abstractTransPAC was a high performance network connecting scientists in the United States with their counterparts in the Asia-Pacific region. TransPAC provided fundamental network infrastructure to support e-science collaborations between these researchers in a broad range of scientific disciplines including astronomy, molecular biology, high-energy physics, medicine, meteorology, visualization, and computational science.
