Abstract
In this issue of Field Notes, Traditional Arts Indiana introduces its Master-Apprentice Program, which assisted three master artists--Angie Caldwell, Milan Opacich, and Jim Cooper--in taking on apprentices. Also included are reports on TAI working with the Folklore and Ethnomusicology Department classes to teach fieldwork methods and the Lyceum bus tour featuring foodways, music, fishing, and history. The artist portrait features Jim Cooper, hoop-net maker, and the fieldworker notes discuss the Dogtown Tavern in Union Township, featuring clabber players.
