dc.description.abstract | Dr. Joan Duwve, MD, MPH, is the Associate Dean for Practice at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health in Indianapolis, and the former Chief Medical Officer at the Indiana State Department of Health. Dr. Duwve cochaired the Indiana State Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force from 2012 to 2016, and served on the Governor’s Task Force on Drug Enforcement, Treatment and Prevention from 2015 to 2016. She also served as the PI on the first rigorous study of injection drug use in Scott County. | |
