Indexes to the Journal of American Folklore

Permanent link for this collection

At the time of its Centennial in 1988, the American Folklore Society, using funding provided by the L.J. Skaggs and Mary C. Skaggs Foundation of Oakland, California, commissioned the compilation of a Centennial Index to the contents of the first hundred years of its Journal of American Folklore. Bruce Jackson, Michael Taft, and Harvey S. Axelrod led this effort. Seven years later, Michael Taft brought the Index up to date for the period 1988-1994.
