dc.description Presented at the 2017 American College Personnel Association Annual Convention in Columbus, OH.
dc.description.abstract In the past year, student groups released a list of demands at over 80 institutions. This session will highlight emerging themes of systemic and structural racism from those demands, in addition to exploring the various responses from these institutions. Through the use of data from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Culturally Engaging Campus Environments (CECE) Model, participants will discuss and share strategies on intentionally supporting the needs of racially diverse students at their institutions.
