dc.description Presented at the Association for Institutional Research Annual Forum en
dc.description.abstract As an experiment, eight mini-surveys based on selected items from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) were administered to 500 college students over an eight-week period. NSSE staff recruited participants from five diverse colleges and universities in order to investigate this alternative survey panel approach to see what impact it would have on various data quality indicators. Results indicate a dramatic increase in student participation rates and less missing data from those who responded. en
