Abstract
Ron Carter provides a description of Tom Thomas as a Colleague, Friend, Teacher, Artist, Mechanic, & Entrepreneur. He discusses the start of the Whitewater Valley Art Competition,Tom's influence on students, using his son Shawn Carter as an example, and he describes Tom's energy and service to the Campus. Tom's first sabbatical was to experiment with STP as a paint additive, it never dried; this is an example of his experimental spirit.
