This poster details community engagement activity of an academic library coordinated within a broader university strategic plan. The Anderson Library at Indiana University (IU) Northwest supported a service called the Northwest Indiana Center for Data and Analysis. The Center provided a variety of graphical elements for the four year project with the Geminus Corporation. Demographic information was converted to charts, graphs, and maps for inclusion in the East Chicago Local Epidemiology Profile annual reports to serve as a vehicle for the development of collaborative relationships in social service program development in the areas of child welfare, early childhood development and behavioral health services for persons of all ages.
