The Indiana University Libraries and Indiana University Digital Library Program are conducting a project to host open access journals. Our goal is to provide server space and to support the use of Open Journal Systems (OJS) as a full-service publishing option for IU scholars who desire local control.
This online publishing system makes it possible to:
- Work within an open access or fee-based model (subscription or pay-per-view)
- Track the peer-review process and other administrative functions
- Maximize exposure and visibility of publications by making full-text accessible to Google Scholar and other search services
- Tailor the appearance and identity of publications
- Operate with IU's institutional repository
OJS is a journal management and publishing system that has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project through its federally funded efforts to expand and improve access to research.

Artifact
Artifact is focused on practice-based design research and aims to explore conditions, issues and tasks pertaining to design development in a broad sense. The main emphasis of the journal is on aspects of design development concerning proposals, form-giving and conceptualization, which ties into a range of topics such as strategic design, design thinking, design innovation, design method and process, among others.
The journal is cross-disciplinary in scope and thus welcomes contributions from all design disciplines, including product design and graphic communication, IT and service design as well as organization design and design management.
Artifact publishes academic articles, short research notes, review articles, and essays. Academic articles and research notes are vetted in a double-blind review process.
We send out several calls for contributions each year. In addition, we welcome unsolicited contributions. Please refer to our Information for authors in the bottom right column of this site.

Journal of the Indiana University Student Personnel Association
The Journal of the Indiana University Student Personnel Association has been published annually since 1967 by the Indiana University Student Personnel Association with support from the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Program. The Journal is produced expressly to provide an opportunity for HESA master’s students to publish articles pertinent to the field of student affairs. The primary sources of funding for the Journal are alumni donations and support from the students and the HESA department.
