Steven Gould Axelrod, University of California, Riverside

Steven Gould Axelrod is Distinguished Professor of English at the University of California, Riverside. He is the author of Sylvia Plath: The Wound and the Cure of Words (Johns Hopkins Univ. Press, 1990) and co-editor of The New Anthology of American Poetry, Volumes 1-3 (Rutgers Univ. Press, 2003, 2005, 2012). Recent articles on Plath appear in Plath Profiles, vol. 3; The Cambridge Companion to Sylvia Plath, ed. Jo Gill (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2006); and Representing Sylvia Plath, ed. Sally Bayley and Tracy Brain (Cambridge Univ. Press 2011).
