In 1983, the Journal of the Folklore Institute changed its name to the Journal of Folklore Research to reflect a changing emphasis on international folklore scholarship.

You can view the table of contents of past issues, find  bibliographic information for specific articles, and conduct Web searches on the entire journal on our JSTOR site. However, you will not be able to view full-text articles without a subscription to the JSTOR database.
