Journal of the Folklore Institute, 1964–1982

The Journal of Folklore Research was founded in 1964 at Indiana University. Then titled the Journal of the Folklore Institute, the journal in its early years focused on midwestern folklore.

You can view the table of contents of past issues, find  bibliographic information for specific articles, and conduct Web searches on the entire journal on our JSTOR site. However, you will not be able to view full-text articles without a subscription to the JSTOR database.
